Canon Copier Imageclass Mf6560 – Large Paper Storage Capacity Mfc From Canon
Canon is known for creating multiple use machines that combine features effectively for optimal speed, and comprehensiveness. The Canon Copier ImageClass MF6560, equipped with 23 pages per minute print speed and a full range of fax, copy, and scan features, is no exception.
The unit comes equipped with a 500 sheet paper cassette which is twice the size of many similar units in the price range, which often offer expensive, additional paper trays available for purchase. That being said, the Canon Copier ImageClass MF6560 is not exactly a bargain printer. It has a large footprint (20.5″(W) x 17.3″(D) x 17.8″H), and a large price tag. It is true in this case, however, that you get what you pay for, thanks to the high end specifications all across the unit.
Weighing in at a bulky 52.3 pounds with a maximum monthly duty cycle of 15,000 pages, the imageCLASS MF6560 promises to be sturdy, and a three year limited warranty backs up the claim. Canon also includes a year of on-site service with this model, and the others in the 6500 series.
The Canon Copier ImageClass MF6560 is not a network ready printer, and comes only with a standard USB 2.0 Hi Speed port which can be used to link to either Macintosh or Windows bases PC. Also included is a large 128 MB of copy memory, which is also shared, for speed dial memory and other digital processes. The 23 one touch dedicated buttons should come in handy when using the memory to store fax numbers, and allow you to send a fax to a preset destination with, literally, one touch.
Faxing speed is fast due to the built in 33.6 kilobyte per second modem, and quality is great, topping out at 406 X 391 dots per inch. Other resolutions are decent as well, with both copy and print quality settable at 600 x 600 dots per inch, or 1200 x 600 dpi. Optical scanning runs up to 600 dpi, but, thanks to an interpolated scan setting, up to 9600 dpi scans are an option, in either black and white or color.
A 100 sheet multipurpose tray helps as either additional legal or letter sized paper storage, or a way to automatically load different types of media, such as transparencies or envelopes. There is also a 50 sheet automatic document feeder that can be used, even when using odd paper types, to speed up large projects drastically, copying especially.
Despite its bulky nature, the Canon Copier ImageClass MF6560 is Energy Star certified, and wears the stamp of approval of The Clean Earth Campaign, which also means operating costs will be at a minimum concerning energy. Duplexing can also be used to chop down dramatically on overall paper cost, and is usable for scanning as well.
Overall, the hardware is designed as a powerful work horse with all the features you could ask for. If shelling out the doe for a quality machine is no problem, then the Canon Copier ImageClass MF6560 could easily be a smart purchase.

How to fit a large visio diagram to a letter size paper?
I have been given a visio diagram to work with which was created on a large paper size. Any easy way to fit it to letter size paper?
to print on letter size paper: go to print preview, then click Setup between where it says Print and the printer selection box. Under the Print Setup tab, select your paper size under Printer Paper, then select Fit to... where it says Print Zoom. eg. put in fit to 1 by 1. this should do the trick. or write to PDF and Acrobat will probably scale to your default paper size anyway.
to resize the contents of the file to a different page size, you could probably just select all the contents (CTRL + A), group (SHIFT + CTRL + G), and then resize. copy over to a new file with the page size you want.
