Wars Crimson

Rock and war

The night of ruins rolls over

The golden dawn illuminates the spoils of war.

My village was raided

By bands of armed militia_

Life will never be the same again

 

Chaos reigned

‘Cos silence and symmetry

Were not there

Long jagged wave trains

Disturbs the space:

Gun blasts closely followed by loud cries

Jerking rifles followed by crumbling lives

 

Among the sights and sounds

I couldn't tell which one

Was my mother Or my sister

Perhaps, a geologist

Cannot Pick a gem

From hot crimson lava

And I mourn

For the rock_

A symbol for my loved ones_

Melts

 

It is the aftermath of the war

My life will never be the same again.

I am called soldier boy

But I call myself music box.

Khaki shorts underneath

A twofold cord around my head

As if my skull would blow apart

Fingers clutch the shaft of a rifle

Veins bulge across scarred arms

Adhering to skin

Like strings adhering to the fret

Of an electric guitar

Eardrums strained

By deafening blasts of land mines

And thunderous roars

From machine guns

Its membrane collapses

Into a myriad of thin

And taut parallel cords

The ear bones evolve into frets;

The Eustachian tube becomes the sounding board

Acoustic nerve resolves to interpret

Every impulse within

The realm of sound

To music of high pitch, blistering intensity

Blending rhythm and instantaneous duration

 

Altogether Psyche awakens to the reality

In which noises don't exist

 

The stage is set:

I and the members of my band

Are living the dream

With our inspiring performance

We illuminate the fans

And they radiate like embers

Beside me is the techno queen

She puts up the mix

And the locals ascend on cloud nine

Beside her is the guitarist

He strings the thrilling piece

And the crowd ignites

I blasted the vocals,

And rolled the chime

This emerged from my being

Like a volcano

It had an extraordinary quality

A strong pitch and a sharp sting

…the audience was riveted

 

But this is a dream

Superimposed onto my reality

It disperses in the sun_

…the drummer throws his final strike

The atmosphere of gun blasts

Surrounds the battle field …

Among my valiant comrades

My neck cranes forward

Arm strokes rifle _

finger plucks trigger_

The last militant crumbles

Another high-pitched note erupts into the air

To accompany the symphony...

Behind us

The kings men sing the war song:

The seven musketeers… Ai! Ai!!

They're moving once again… Ai! Ai!!

It's not as was before…Ai! Ai!!

They're giving you some more… Ai! Ai!!

Their poise will never end….. Ai! Ai!!

The victory cloud descends…Ai! Ai!!

Once, these were spoils of war……..Ai! Ai!!

…the ravaged in Darfur….Ai! Ai!!

Life will never be the same again

I was once called soldier boy

I earned my freedom

Because I lived up to that name

But now and always

I shall be called music box

it was what I wanted to be

im decorating my living room in star wars does anyone have any suggestions?

i have painted my living room sith red as i call it others would say its crimson.. and due to the dark color and the small room it even looks smaller. i wanted to do something star wars with the ceiling to help make it look bigger. ive toyed with the ideas of putting things like the millenium falcon up there or painting it black and doing white dots to make it look like stars... none of these idea really appeal to me... so i am open to any suggestions any one can give. but i also want to at least have the effect of making my room look taller so it counteracts the red making it look small.

Try some of these wall decorations! A Death Star on the wall or ceiling would probably make your room appear larger!
